Scientific Dialogue with Prof. Juan Ignacio Cirac, Director at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics

The Spanish Embassy in Berlin, through its Science and Culture Department gave me the opportunity to moderate this talk with Prof. Dr. Ignacio Cirac, director of the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics in Garching.

Cirac is a world-renowned physicist who pioneered quantum computing by laying the theoretical groundwork on how these computers could be actually designed, as he states already in the first line of his seminal paper on the matter:
